Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and any purchases made through it. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
This website is owned and operated by Carolyn Hammond Art.
If you have any questions about these Terms and Conditions, please contact: info@carolyn-hammond.co.uk
About This Website
This website provides information about Carolyn Hammond’s artwork, writing, wearable art, and related creative offerings. It also enables customers to purchase selected products and, where applicable, request or commission bespoke or personalised work.
Products and Availability
All products are subject to availability.
I reserve the right to amend, withdraw, or discontinue products at any time without notice. I also reserve the right to update descriptions, prices, images, or specifications where necessary.
I make every effort to ensure that product descriptions and images are accurate. However, colours, scale, and finish may vary slightly depending on screen settings, printing methods, materials, or the handmade / made-to-order nature of the item.
Orders
When you place an order through this website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected item or items.
An order is only accepted once payment has been received and you receive confirmation that your order has been processed.
I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where there is a genuine issue with availability, pricing, suspected fraud, incomplete information, or any other reasonable concern.
If an order is cancelled after payment has been made, a full refund will be issued for the cancelled item or order, unless the cancellation relates to a bespoke or personalised order that has already entered production in accordance with the terms below.
Prices and Payment
All prices shown on this website are in GBP unless otherwise stated.
Prices may be changed at any time without notice, but any changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their billing and payment information is accurate at the time of purchase.
Any customs duties, import taxes, or local handling charges for international orders are the responsibility of the customer unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Made-to-Order, Bespoke and Personalised Items
Some products offered through this website are produced after an order is placed, while others are bespoke or personalised to an individual customer’s specifications. Different cancellation and return rules apply to these categories.
Where an item is personalised, you are responsible for checking that all customer-supplied details – including names, initials, spellings, measurements and other personalisation instructions – are correct before completing your purchase.
Bespoke and genuinely personalised items are created specifically for you. The usual right to cancel because you have changed your mind does not generally apply to these items. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or materially different from what was ordered.
For clarity, an item is not considered personalised simply because it is produced after you order it. Standard designs ordered in the normally available sizes or options remain covered by the cancellation and return rights described in the Refund and Returns Policy.
If you wish to cancel a bespoke or personalised order, please contact me immediately. Once work has begun or materials have been committed specifically to your order, cancellation may not be possible. Any individual commission terms provided before purchase will also apply.
Standard / Non-Personalised Items
Where an item is sold as a standard, non-personalised product, you may have the right to cancel or return it in line with UK consumer law, unless an exception applies.
Returned items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned in suitable packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
Further detail is available in the Refund and Returns Policy.
Shipping and Delivery
Delivery times shown on the website are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
I am not responsible for delays caused by postal services, couriers, customs processing, high seasonal demand, or events outside my reasonable control.
Shipping costs, methods, and estimated delivery times are set out at checkout or in the relevant delivery information on the site.
Please ensure your delivery address is correct at the time of ordering. I cannot accept responsibility for delays or losses arising from incorrect address details supplied by the customer.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact me as soon as possible and, where possible, within 14 days of delivery.
Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs where relevant.
Where an item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrect, I will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement, repair, refund, or another suitable resolution depending on the circumstances.

All content on this website, including but not limited to artwork, designs, text, graphics, branding, images, and written material, remains the intellectual property of Carolyn Hammond unless otherwise stated.

My total liability in relation to any order shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the relevant product, except where the law requires otherwise.
