The main artwork appears on the back, while ART FIRST sits on the front as a quieter counterpoint – a simple statement that anchors the piece without competing with its main presence.

The base design remains as shown. What makes each piece individual is the addition of an artist-created bespoke sleeve element, designed in keeping with the mood, palette and visual language of Relic No. 1.

Each Relic No. 1 T-shirt is made to order using a carefully selected organic cotton garment chosen for comfort, durability and considered sourcing.

Made from 100% organic ring-spun cotton, this is a high-quality, comfortable unisex T-shirt suitable for everyday wear.

Bespoke Sleeve Elements & Production

Each Relic No. 1 T-shirt is created to order.

The main artwork appears as shown in the gallery images. The piece is finished with ART FIRST on the front – a pared-back detail that sits in quiet contrast to the stronger back design.

After your order is placed, Carolyn creates a small bespoke sleeve element for your T-shirt. This detail is artist-created rather than customer-selected, and is designed in keeping with the mood, palette and visual language of Relic No. 1.

The final sleeve element will be revealed when your T-shirt arrives, making each piece quietly unique without altering the core design.

Please allow 2–4 weeks for production and delivery.

Because each piece is made specifically for you and includes bespoke sleeve elements, it is non-returnable unless faulty. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Creating on demand – rather than in bulk – helps reduce overproduction. Thank you for making a mindful choice.

Care Instructions

To help preserve your wearable art piece, machine wash cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colours.

Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. Do not use fabric softeners.

Tumble dry low, or hang dry for longest life.

Cool iron inside-out if needed, but do not iron directly over the decoration.

Do not dry clean.
