Symphony of Nature’s Whimsy began within Enchantment, a large pen-and-ink drawing created by hand and inspired by the intricate, unruly intelligence of the natural world.
Through digital mirroring, another form revealed itself within the original – dense, symmetrical and almost alive. Leaves, tendrils and imagined organic structures gather around a central axis, creating something that feels part botanical specimen, part mask and part undiscovered creature.
The mirroring is not simply a decorative effect. It is part of the way I work: returning to an image, shifting the way it is seen, and allowing forms that were already present to emerge.
Printed with generous white space around it, the work remains deliberately intimate – an intricate world that invites closer looking.
